You can always tell how good a company is when you have a problem, and this one is excellent. They paid for my local garage to repair the air-conditioning. the second problem was an engine management light issue caused by a lambda sensor sorted by the local Alfa specialist. They were helpful and set out clearly what they wanted me to do with my local garages and paid them directly. They prepared the car very well and made sure it was serviced properly and remedial work done before we collected.

TLDR:
If you’re in the market for a car, go check out CBD, excellent service during AND especially after the purchase of a Jaguar.
I’ve wanted a Jaguar XK8 for a long time. While I was still working I could never justify buying and running one, having a company car. I saw one at CBD and subsequently bought it. Being a 20 year old vehicle it had a few issues, mostly very small. It did develop a more serious issue and CBD could not have been more helpful in offering to pay for half of the bills on two occasions. My wife had always wanted a convertible and we ended up buying a convertible Mini from them also. If I’m ever wanting to purchase another car I would have no hesitation in going to CBD first to check their stock.

Just bought a Jaguar XF, lovely car at a good price, described perfectly, no pressure sales, happy for you to test drive on your own, time to give the car a good check over and all service and MOT history. They had work done on all advisories so a clean MOT. Would highly recommend, travelled 120 mile round trip to see the car and then pick up later in the week. One very happy customer.

Can not rate this garage highly enough, you always have some reservations when buying a used car, Mat was a pleasure to deal with and very helpful with the buying process. After a week the car developed a fault, I messaged Mat and he got back to me straight away asking me to take the car to my local garage to determine the fault. Ive bought a few cars from none local dealers to me over the years, and I know the good ones over the type you want to stay well away with, one of key things for me is customer service and aftercare! So many 2nd hand car dealers once the car has been sold tend to not go out of their way to truly provide no hassle aftercare.

Brian at CBD from start to finish not only provided me with an honest and accurate description of the car (I’m absolutely delighted with it) but when I had a small problem after a few days of receiving it he stepped up to the mark of providing reassuring aftercare.

I was able to take my car to a local trusted dealer of mine and they quickly fixed the unforeseen issue and dealt with Brian directly who stuck to his word with wanting to make sure I had a great experience with CBD.

I would highly recommend CBD, including speaking with Brian and if you get the opportunity to meet their delivery driver chap I believe you will not be disappointed!

I bought a lovely VW Golf off them.
The car had been cleaned to the point of it looking like new. It had also been advertised as having sat nav but the SD card wasn't where it should be. This wasn't an issue though because as soon as I told them, they apologised and when I picked the car up there was a new up to date one in the car.
Another great thing is that every car has a fresh MOT and service, regardless of when it was last done for peace of mind.
The father and son team were very friendly and professional. It's safe to say I would definitely go back for another car one day.

Matt, Tom & Pav have all been amazing and I can't thank them enough for the smooth service provided from start to finish. Nothing was a trouble for them and I would recommend anyone to visit the dealership and speak to the team.
At the point of purchase I had noticed a small mark on the rear bumper of my Audi A5 and Matt true to his word sorted this for me. Incase you only read the first few of lines of this review here is all you need to know ...fantastic small family run business no frills just great personal service and communications and what seems to be only the highest quality of used car stock in a variety of price ranges.
Good reviews and a solid reputation do not come easy..it takes consistent high standards of service...
If you are still reading expect NO pushy suited salesman on a plush forecourt trying hit his monthly bonus ..or fancy desk where you are likely to get bombarded with expensive upsales...and leave hundreds of pounds lighter than expected.
There are no hidden fees ...no extras...no pressure..no frills ....just good honest customer service ...The car we bought was priced fairly if not under what we had been looking at over the previous 12 weeks and its condion was exactly as described practically perfect ..we had 8 days of commication with the garage before traveling the 670 mile round trip from Plymouth.
The guys waited for us to arrive after a long trip up had a quick glance over the car we were part exchanging did the paperwork in around 15 mins taxed the car for us and we were on our way to a near by hotel before taking our new car home the following day.
We can genuinely say next time we change car despite the distance we would probably check these guys stock first .
